Is the author a man hater?

If there was ever a book intended to sabotage men, this is it.
The author literally instructs the reader to lie to his potential date and tell her something she has on and paid for was obtained for free by the reader.
It doesnt take a genius to figure out that women love bargins and by extension hate to learn something they paid good money for was obtained by the sap in front of them for free. Im fairly comfortable screwing off around women but this would go over like a lead ballon.
